Dear Friends:

It's hard to believe four years have passed since you elected me to represent you in the Washington State Senate. They've been fantastic years with tremendous progress made on education, transportation and the environment, and I've been very honored to be a part of it.

We've made WSU-Vancouver into a four-year University. We've enacted landmark legislation on recycling and climate change. And we've made sure that southwest Washington continues its historic role of providing major leadership in the state legislature.

Today, I am launching the reelection campaign and I hope you'll all join with me again as we again demonstrate that we are the hardest working political organization in the state. There will be hundreds of yard signs to put out, events to be organized, doorbells to knock on, and friends to call up. Let's roll up our sleeves and do it again. This time, we're going to win by a few touchdowns!
